These terms govern your use of so-yi tools ("the site"). Using the site means you accept them.
1. What the service is
The site provides web-based calculators and converters free of charge. No account is required.
2. Results are for reference only
All results produced by the site are for reference and carry no legal weight.
In particular:
- Tax and insurance figures depend on individual deductions, employer policy, and income type. Several calculators use documented approximations rather than official withholding tables, and the corresponding page says so.
- Financial calculations assume the entered terms hold to maturity. Promotional conditions, early-repayment fees, and rate changes are not modeled.
- Utility calculations use standard tariffs and exclude discounts and meter-reading proration.
- Reference year matters. Rates change annually; each tool shows the year it is based on.
For any binding figure, confirm with the relevant authority, financial institution, or department. The site is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its output.
3. Data you enter
Values and files you enter are processed only in your browser and are never sent to a server. Consequently the site cannot store or recover anything you entered.
Closing or reloading the page discards your input. Save anything you need yourself.
4. Changes and interruption
The site may change or discontinue any part of the service without prior notice, whether for tool changes, technical issues, maintenance, or third-party outages.
5. Intellectual property
Design, text, and code belong to the site operator.
Results you obtain from the calculators are yours to use freely. Please do not republish the site's explanatory articles elsewhere without permission.
6. Prohibited use
- Sending automated requests at a volume that disrupts the service
- Copying the site's code or content to offer a substantially similar service
- Clicking ads automatically or encouraging others to click them
7. Advertising
The site is funded by advertising. Ad content is supplied by the advertising provider, and the site makes no warranty about any product or service shown. Transactions on external sites reached through ads are outside the site's responsibility.
8. External links
Explanatory articles may link to official and third-party sites. The site is not responsible for their content or policies.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". No warranty is made as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from its use.
10. Changes to these terms
Changes will be posted on this page with an effective date.
11. Governing law
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
